Preventing Stretch Marks By Applying A Cocoa Butter Stretch Marks Lotion
One of the most fun and joyful times in a woman’s life is during her nine months of pregnancy: the expectancy of giving birth to a new baby. Yet, there are some things which occur that are not so pleasant. The appearance of stretch marks is one of the inevitable results of pregnancy. Unfortunately, stretch marks do not go away on their own like fatigue, nausea, and swelling. While there is no way to completely avoid developing stretch marks, there are things that you can do to help minimize the appearance. Dermatologists recommend that you keep your skin moisturized throughout the pregnancy and afterward. This will keep the skin supple and better able to stretch. A tried and true formula for many is the inexpensive cocoa butter stretch marks regimen.
However, there are some studies which have shown that applying cocoa butter during pregnancy is not that effective in preventing stretch marks. The operative word in this statement is prevent. Nearly every woman will get stretch marks during her pregnancy, so prevention is not possible. The key is to do whatever you can to minimize their appearance. Early treatment is going to make a difference. So, while it is true that stretch marks are inevitable, they will be worse if you do nothing. Doctors still recommend cocoa butter stretch marks treatment even though scientific evidence does not support its effectiveness.
Using a cocoa butter stretch marks cream has been an acceptable treatment for many years. The natural ingredients in cocoa butter gives expectant mothers comfort in knowing that they are not using chemicals that could possibly harm their baby. Cocoa butter can penetrate both the top layer and second layer of the skin. Many believe that the ingredients begin preparing the skin once it has reached the second layer. Cocoa butter also removes the discoloration which occurs on the skin as a result of stretch marks.
Our skin protects us from many harmful things, but it still has its limits. Keeping your skin in the best condition will ensure that it keeps you in your best condition. Healthy skin comes from years of eating the right things and constant moisturizing. Looking for a miracle can lead to disappointment. Using a loofah or skin brush during your shower stimulates circulation. Vitamin E oil is also good for stretch marks. Eating foods rich in vitamins A, E and C is also good. Just remember not to have more than 25,000 IU of vitamin A during your pregnancy.
Cocoa butter stretch marks lotions work best if you include it with a combination of other things.

I’m a guy, and I personally prefer using a straightening iron and using thermal protecting serum. I find that using a blow dryer doesn’t give me straight enough results ;p.
